1. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in our Referral Program (the "Program"), you agree to abide by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our general Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from participating in the Program.
2. Eligibility
To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and have an active account with our store. Participation is void where prohibited by law.
3. How the Program Works
As part of this program, you will receive a unique referral link (“Referral Code”) to share with friends and family. Here's how it works:

x Step 1: Advocate Signup – You sign up and receive your referral code.

Step 2: Share Your Link – Send your code via email, social media, or messaging to someone you know.

Step 3: Friend Claims Discount – Your friend add a UV tracker and a band to the cart and enters the discount code at the checkout, and receives the band for free!

Step 4: Rewards Are Granted:

After 30 - 60 days, we will trigger a $10 donation from sun-a-wear to a skin cancer organization in recognition of your impact (that is if your friend has not returned his tracker in the meantime).

4. No Self-Referral
You cannot refer yourself. Creating multiple accounts to receive referral benefits is not allowed and may result in disqualification.
5. Limitations

Only one referral per household is allowed.

The referral program is intended for new customers only. If the referred person has already made a purchase, the referral will not count.

Rewards and donations are only processed after the referred order is fulfilled and not returned.

Referral links may not be shared on coupon or deal-sharing platforms.
6. Disqualification and Blocking
We reserve the right to disqualify participants at our discretion, including but not limited to cases involving:

Referring existing customers

Use of suspicious or duplicate email addresses

Multiple referrals from the same household or IP

Violation of program rules or abuse of the system

Any behavior that goes against the intended purpose of the program
Disqualification may result in cancellation of pending rewards and donations.
7. Referral Status Meanings

Unclaimed – The friend hasn’t claimed the coupon yet

Pending – The friend claimed the coupon but hasn’t completed a purchase
-
Completed – The friend completed a purchase and the order has been fulfilled; the donation will be issued within 30 days
-
Blocked – The referral was disqualified under program rules
-
Ineligible – The referral doesn’t meet program requirements (e.g., existing customer or incomplete order)
8. Changes to the Program
We may modify, suspend, or end the Program at any time. Any updates will be posted here or shared via email.
9. Purpose of the Program
This program is designed to encourage new customers to discover sun-a-wear and to spread awareness about the importance of sun protection and the risks of sun damage. Through each valid referral:

A friend or family member receives a discount

The advocate helps contribute to our mission and supports a meaningful cause

A skin cancer organization benefits from a direct donation, funded by sun-a-wear
It’s more than a referral — it’s a way to give back, raise awareness, and protect future lives.
10. Donation and Reward Fulfillment

The $10 donation to the skin cancer organization is made by sun-a-wear after verification of the completed referral.

The $10 credit for the referred friend will be issued once they claim it using the referral email sent by the advocate.

Donations are processed within 30 days of purchase fulfillment.

Returned or refunded orders do not qualify for donations.

Donations are not attributed by name but are tracked internally as part of the advocate’s referral impact.
11. Liability
We are not responsible for technical issues, incorrect submissions, or system errors that may affect program participation or reward delivery.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or country in which sun-a-wear is registered.

14. Program Participation Agreement
By participating in this Program, you acknowledge and accept these Terms. Continued use of your referral link after any updates constitutes agreement to the most recent version.
